Blogging With WordPress Class

One of the aspects of Social Space marketing that I suggest you take advantage of is blogging.  Blogging is an important part of social marketing.

The biggest decision you have to make is where to blog.  Some have started out with blogger.com.  I recommend a WordPress blog hosted on your own site.  The reason I recommend this is because you control your blog.  If you use one of the free blogging platforms, the cost is great, but you get what you pay for.  THEY control your site.  You do not.  If they don’t like what you are blogging about, they can shut it down.  You could wake up one day and your entire blog could be gone.

But setting up a WordPress blog isn’t something that just anyone can do, right?  WRONG

On Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2 pm EST, I will be doing a webinar on Blogging With WordPress.

What we will cover:

Installation on your hosted URL
How to choose the best theme (layout)
Optimization for search engines
Best plugins to use
Blogging terminology
The very important backlinks.  What they are and how to get them
What to blog about
How to get traffic to your blog

By the end of the class you will be able to have a fully functioning blog up and running and you will know what to blog about and how to get traffic to your blog.

All of this for the very low investment of just $37

THIS CLASS HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE.  YOU ARE ORDERING THE RECORDING.  We packed a lot of great info into this class.  It’s 2 1/2 hours plus a bonus recording will be done during the week.

What is Entrecard?

I am starting using Entrecard again.  Entrecard is a way for bloggers to get more traffic.  You put the Entrecard widget on your blog.  You visit other blogs and “drop” on them to show you were there.  They see that you “dropped” on their blog and they come to your blog to “drop” on your blog.

What is “dropping”?  It’s simply clicking a button on the entrecard widget on the blog you are visiting.  It is supposed to boost traffic and get you more readers, provided you have content that will GRAB them as they are looking for your widget.  We will see how everything works out.  😉
