How Much Money Will I Make Working From Home

Here is a question I received this week.  I have received permission from the writer to answer it here on my blog because others may have the same question.

You say that you have made enough money over the past 12 years working from home to support your family of four.  I am sick and tired of my job.  It sucks.  I have enough money in the bank to support my family for about a month.  Can you guarantee that I will make money if I start this home business with you?  Also, the thing I really love and would like to blog about is animals.  I have dogs and cats and rescue other animals.  Is that something I can make money blogging about?

Thank you,

Hi KT,

First of all, NO ONE can guarantee your income or even guarantee that you will make any money.  My success is based on my efforts as your success will be based on your efforts.  You must commit to doing a couple hours of work EVERY day.  This is not a “set it and forget it” type of business.  It’s very important that you understand that.

With that said…yes…you can blog about animals and have good results if you follow the steps we outline for you.  That’s the beauty of this system.  It will work with any business, any topic.  A good friend of mine, Kim Klaver, began her business with Empower Network about 3.5 months ago.  She has made well over $60K and was invited by the company to a special retreat for the top 100 income earners in Empower.  She started at the bottom with no one, just like I did.  Just like you would.

I would not, however, recommend that you quit your job before you start making money with this.  If you have 2 hours a day (everyone can find 2 hours a day to make money), you can do the steps and work Empower to start making money.  When you have sold a few of the blogging systems and inner circle memberships, you will be making enough to pay for your monthly costs and have some extra coming in.   The more time and effort you can put into it, the faster you will go.  It’s all up to you.  After you start making money and see how easy it is, you can come up with an exit strategy of when your last day at your job will be.  The beauty of this system is that you can blog about anything you want.  So, yes, you can blog about what you love!

So…let’s get you started right away.  The quicker you get started, the quicker we can help you start making money.

I look forward to working with you!

Financial Freedom Plan

I have a serious question for you.

If your boss told you that you could work 2 hours per day (10 hours per week) overtime and make $30,000 / year, would you do it? That’s $576.92 per week or $115.38 per day or $57.69 per hour. Would you do it? Would you find the time to work an extra 2 hours per day?

What if your boss said you have to work this overtime for one full year and then you will be paid the $30,000. Would you do it? Most likely, huh?!

You might be asking – what’s the catch? The only “catch” is that you have to actually work during those two hours. You can’t just be present and slack off. You must do the work that you do to create an income.

Still in? Great!!

This is exactly what it is like building a home based business. You put time and effort into it. You don’t make a whole lot the first 6 months or so. But then…then your efforts begin paying off. That’s when your income begins to come rolling in like a snowball collecting snow as it rolls down a hill.

The reason why most people don’t make money in a home business is because they are not willing to put in the time and effort up front. They have a J.O.B mentality instead of a financial security mentality.

When I say time and effort, I mean income producing activities. Too many people who start a home business do “busy work” like checking email, playing games, getting ready to get ready, etc… Your time has to be spent on the activities that will create that snowball rolling downhill. If you spend your time wisely, you can work a couple hours a day for 6 months and build a good extra income. After a year or two, you’ll be making well over enough to quit your job and be a full time home based entrepreneur.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
What will you do with it?

I Suffer from Frequent Heartburn

For years I’ve suffered from frequent heartburn (acid reflux). Prilosec OTC is always in my house. The only problem with Prilosec is that you have to take it BEFORE you get heartburn, which means take it every day or suffer. Regardless, I’ve been a faithful purchaser of it. I tried the generic omeprazole but it didn’t work as well.

There have been many times when I’ve gotten heartburn and realized that I did not take my prilosec and now I have to suffer with it. If you’ve ever had chronic heartburn, you know how bad it can get. Nothing works to get rid of it once it’s here. It’s painful and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

I’ve been seeing commercials for this new Zegerid OTC and have been checking the shelves at local stores for a few weeks now to see if I could find it. Finally, on Friday when I went grocery shopping, I found it and decided to try it. I had been out of my prilosec so was starting to get heartburn while I was shopping. I looked at the label and it’s also omeprazole, so I wasn’t sure how it would work. I figured it would be like past experiences with these types of products and wouldn’t kick in until the next day. I mentally geared up for an evening of suffering.

As soon as I left the store, I opened the bottle and took one of the Zegerid pills. I didn’t think much more about it until a couple hours later when I realized there was NO HEARTBURN!! I was shocked as the heartburn had already begun when I took the pill.

I set out to find out why the same dosage of omeprazole would work differently in different products. Now, I’m no doctor and I have no idea if this is correct, but here’s the best I can come up with. Prilosec is designed to be DELAYED RELEASE!! I did not know that. What kind of person suffering from acid reflux wants a product that works hours later?? On the other hand, Zegrid has an ingredient in it that “allows absorption of this omeprazole product”. I’m assuming that is why Zegrid works when Prilosec doesn’t.

It’s official – I am a new Zegerid OTC customer!!!!

I have in no way been compensated for my opinion of this product.
