For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been a business coach since 2009 teaching entrepreneurs how to market their business online using social spaces.
Prior to that, I spent about 10 years building a home based network marketing business. Well…about 7 to 8 years were spent in a trial and error phase learning what works and what doesn’t and about 2 to 3 years were actually spent building a business.
I decided that I wanted to help more people and follow my passion of teaching, so I left my business to teach others what I had learned. I’ve been having a great time doing that, however, I’m seeing the people that I’ve coached have success in their business and I feel that I’m leaving money on the table.
With that said, I have decided to join a company called Forever Living.
The first question I will probably get is “Why Forever Living?” Here’s what I saw:
Great products at reasonable prices
Once you qualify for a certain pay level, you never have to re-qualify
I can sell products to someone without making them join the business
Worldwide distribution facilities
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE aloe and they have aloe!!
They have been in business since 1978 so obviously they are doing something right
These are just a few reasons why I chose Forever Living as my new “home”.

I was working with my business coach this week and she helped me come up with a new game plan for my business. I can already see that it is going to make a HUGE difference in my bottom line.
You may be asking yourself why I would need a coach because I AM a coach.
Bottom line…EVERYONE needs a coach. No one has EVER been a huge success without a coach or mentor. Ask any successful person and they will tell you.
I can’t tell you how many times my business has seemed to hit a brick wall. It’s hard for me to see what I am doing wrong because it’s like I’m standing in the middle of a forest and can’t see the edge. But…having a coach is like going up in a helicopter and hovering above. You get to see the big picture more clearly. Many times, I’ve realized that the clearing was way closer than I thought it was.
A good coach can help you see your business from a perspective that you had not thought of before.
Instead of staying stuck in life or business, GET HELP NOW.

On October 1, 2011, our family finally moved back to our hometown of Cato NY so we could be closer to friends and family. I am so happy that we aren’t stuck out at the end of the Earth in a tiny little house in Fair Haven anymore. Our new home is about twice the size of our old one. If I must be in NY (I would prefer to be in a warmer climate) I prefer to live in Cato. It’s a small town…one of the ones where you blink, you miss it…and I love living where I know almost everyone and almost everyone knows me. I go to the store and meet up with at least 5 or 6 people I haven’t seen in a while and am happy to catch up with.
Anyway…We are pretty much settled in and I’m back up and running as a full time work at home mom.
Many of you know that I am a business coach. I help technologically challenged entrepreneurs and small businesses market online using social spaces. I’ve been helping people create an income from home for around 12 years now.
Among others, I teach a course called “Cash in on Your Passion” where I help people figure out what their passion is and how to make money doing what they love. That course is one of my best sellers. Many people who go through the course decide that they either don’t want to build a business from scratch or they just want something where they can basically “paint by numbers” and build a business. For these people, I had nothing to offer them.
That has changed!! I am beginning a new business where I can help people have their own business and all they have to do is “paint by numbers”. Follow the steps, in sequence, and they will be successful. Now…don’t get me wrong…this is NOT something where you can sign up, do nothing and make money. Notice I said “follow the steps, in sequence”. This means there is going to be work that you have to do in order to find success. Honestly, anything that is worth investing time, effort and money into is going to take work. Not one person has ever had a successful business magically appear with their name on the checks. There are unscrupulous people out there that will try to convince you if you give them your hard earned money, you can sit back and do nothing and get paid. If you live in fantasy land, that may work.
I will be updating my blog and letting you know when I am ready to begin accepting business partners to “paint by numbers” with me. In the meantime, if you just can’t wait for the announcement, fill out the form HERE to be put on the Priority Notification List and you will be in the first group to get information about this new business venture.
Stay tuned!! I will be posting updates on a regular basis now that I’m settled in and actually have an office to work in.

Tomorrow is Independence day in the US. July 4th. I’ve been thinking a lot this past week about independence and what it means to me. I am so blessed to be an entrepreneur. What does that mean? It means FREEDOM. I work around my schedule, not someone else’s. Oh sure…I have deadlines and certain times that clients need things done, but, for the most part, I am on MY schedule. I live in a house on the bay and can take time to enjoy sitting out on the deck looking at the water. As a matter of fact, that’s where I’m sitting as I write this newsletter to you. My kids have had the good fortune to have mom home with them almost all of their lives. They spent a few years in daycare and at sitters while I went to a J.O.B. but for the most part, I’ve been here for them and their friends while they were growing up. Being and entrepreneur has allowed me to homeschool. It has allowed me to be here for my husband when he comes home from work every day. It has allowed me to be a second mom to most of the kids’ friends.
I’ve done a few different things over the years, but for the most part, I’ve been a network marketer, business coach and life coach. When I was growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher. I let friends and family talk me out of it. They said that teachers don’t make a lot of money. They talked me into going to school for accounting. LOL. Those of you who know me well know that I would much rather be talking and interacting with PEOPLE than sitting in front of a computer working with numbers all day. Don’t get me wront – I LOVE working on the computer. I have that “computer geek” side to me. I just love interacting with people while I’m doing it. That’s why I’m starting another book club and teaching an internet marketing course. I get to interact with and teach people.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Are you doing that? Or did someone talk you out of it?
I was reading somewhere the other day about a guy who was told he could make money doing what he loves to do. His passion was making toothpick models. He had no idea how he could make a living doing that, but he started taking pictures of them and getting the word out. Now people are paying hundreds to thousands of dollars for him to make custom toothpick models. There’s another guy who was on Oprah who loved blowing bubbles. You know…the soap bubbles with wands like the kids love…anyway…he is now traveling the world and getting paid to put on shows where he stands in a kiddie pool filled with soapy water and a huge wand and encases himself inside a bubble (among other things). This just proves that you CAN do whatever you love AND make a living at it. I am doing what I love. Are you??
Join my book club and find out how you can be happier doing what you love.
Make it a great day!!!
