As you may know, my two kids are homeschooled. This is their senior year and we are planning their senior trip. We will be taking a trip out west to visit some of our nation’s great landmarks that they have learned about over the years.

In the past we’ve gone on educational trips with one or two other families or alone and my husband and I have just covered the cost of the trip. This time, we have told them if they want to go, they need to come up with ways to raise the money. We do not have the large numbers of students to participate in traditional fund raising activities so the kids have to be “out of the box” thinkers on this one. They have come up with some great ideas to help raise the money they will need.

Well…my kids are becoming skilled negotiators. They have proposed to me that I go to my list of friends and family to help raise the money for the remainder of their trip. So…look below this post and you will see a “Donate” button. If you would like to donate and help pay for their senior trip, please feel free to send a donation. Any amount is fine.  (They are also working on etiquette so please include your mailing address if you would like to be part of our etiquette project and receive a Thank You note in the mail.)
