Vitamark International Has Done It Again!!

HI - Nice to see you again. Have you sent any greeting cards recently?

custom greeting cards

2008vitamarklogoVitamark never ceases to amaze me.  I went to a leadership event in Dallas TX this past weekend.  This is the FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW since I’ve been in Vitamark that they have ADDED money to the comp plan!!  2006, 2007, 2008 and now a HUGE addition in 2009.  Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, David Bertrand and Jana Mitchum are the most amazing company owners that I have ever met.

Vitamark has just made it easier for the part-time, average person to makd money!  If part-time people can join and make money right away, they aern’t leaving.  However, when you have a comp plan where your part-time time reps have to jump through hoops to get a check, they will quit.  You will be caught up on a constant struggle to outsponsor the attrition (drop out) rate.

We are supposed to be in a recession and Vitamark International just keeps giving their reps more and more money.

Email me at roxanne@coachroxanne.com if you want to hear more about the new and improved Vitamark compensation plan.

We Now Wii

I did it!!  I broke down and bought a wii.  Once I get used to the wii, then I’ll get the wii fit.

My daughter and I were bowling yesterday and playing tennis.  She scored a 68 on the age thing and I scored an 80.  I think it’s just because we are not used to the way the wii does things.  It is strange playing it.   When I was bowling I kept twisting the controler and throwing the ball off to the side.  Tennis – LOL – that was a ho0t.  The tennis racket was flying in all different directions and I kept falling on my face.  Well…not me me, but the wii mii.

I suppose, like anything else, you get used to it.  I’m glad I work from home and have time to play.  ;-)   Especially since my daughter is here to help me.

Now, a question for those of you who have one of these.   What game(s) would you recommend?  What’s fun?  What’s your favorite wii game?

Leave a comment or email me at roxanne at roxannegreen dot com with your answer.

Opinions on Nintendo Wii

Hello blog readers!!

I need your opinions.  For those of you who have a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit – I’m thinking of getting one.

I don’t know if I can justify spending that much money on a game system though.  If you have a Wii, do you think that it is worth it?  I don’t want to go weed through a bunch of reviews that were probably paid for anyway.  I’d much rather hear from my blog readers who may have one and can give me their honest opinion.

If you don’t have a Wii Fit and just have a Wii, do you think that other games will give you a good workout as well?  I’m mainly looking for a fun way to lose more weight at home.

Leave me a comment with your thoughts.  Thanks for your feedback!!

Internet Tip 03/14/09

magnifyYou come across a website with text that looks like it was written in size 6 font and you want to be able to read it but it’s too small.  Did you know that you can increase the size of what appears on your screen?

There quite a few different ways to do this.  I’m going to tell you about two of them.

First – hold the CTRL key and turn the wheel of your mouse forward.  CTRL and turn it toward the back of the mouse to decrease the screen.

Second – hold the CTRL key and the + key to increase and CTRL and – to decrease the size.

The Truth About Making Money From Home

Fat Rich Cat

There are a lot of people looking for a way to make money from home. There are also a lot of ways to make money from home. Many people think (because it’s plastered all over the internet) that they can become rich overnight using the internet. It doesn’t work that way.

I’ll give you an example.

Mary lost her job recently. She really needs money so she decided she’s going to start cutting hair for a living. She’s never cut hair before, but that doesn’t stop her. Someone told her it’s easy and anyone can do it.

Mary goes out and spends her savings to buy all of the equipment and supplies she needs to open a hair salon in her basement. She hangs a sign in her front yard that says “Hair Cuts – $10″. Mary then calls her family and friends to tell them that she’s now cutting hair and to ask them to come over and get haircuts.

Mary’s friends and family ask her when she learned to cut hair and she tells them “I am learning as I go. Come on over so I can practice on your hair.”

Do you think that any of Mary’s friends and family will take her seriously? Probably not. Do you think Mary is being irresponsible by not learning t cut hair before she opens her shop?

Many people do this exact same thing every day. Then, when the money doesn’t come rolling in, they complain “This is a scam.” Is cutting hair a scam? No – but it is not going to be a viable business for Mary because she didn’t learn how to cut hair before she started her business.

Making money online is the same thing. You have to learn skills before you start your online business. You can not start today and expect to be making enough money to replace your income in a matter of days, weeks or even months. Building a successful online business takes time, effort and money. You need to learn skills before you can expect to be successful at anything.

It would be highly unreasonable for Mary to think that someone would train her to cut hair and give her the equipment and supplies needed to start her business for free.  It is also highly unreasonable for Mary to think that she can start with no money and no skills and have enough money coming in to live off.

It is also highly unreasonable for anyone looking for a work at home internet busienss to think these things.  In order to have a successful business, you must be prepared to spend the time and money it takes to learn the skills to be successful.
