First of all – I am a Christian. Second, I am not even sure anymore which political party I want to belong to. All political parties have taken to slander and mud slinging and none are credible in my eyes. Sadly, most of that is not due to the politicians themselves, it’s due to the mud slinging American public. GROW UP!!!

With that said, I am a believer of the TRUTH. If you are going to spread things around, try spreading the TRUTH.

Here’s an email I received today:

Subject: Obama and the Crotch Salute

Folks, what you are about to see is truly disgusting. There really are no words to describe this scenerio.

Check out this latest picture from Veterans Day Ceremony, 11/11/09, Arlington National Cemetery. It may be the National Anthem or the Flag being presented, but EVERYBODY in the picture is either saluting or has his hand over the HEART … except ONE.

I’m sorry folks, but is this the turkey that was elected President of our country? You know, the United States of America ? I do believe that saluting the flag goes with that, and also to honor the servicemen who died, or is he above that? Shower us all with flowery words and dazzle us with B.S. But actions speak louder. This stinks.

The writer of the email got hold of this picture from somewhere. Maybe (s)he was at the ceremony, or maybe (s)he took a still from a video. It does not matter. It clearly shows everyone with their hand on their heart, EXCEPT our President. Should we be appalled??

This one is clearly from a different angle, a different camera, but is clearly the same ceremony. But….WHAT??? President Obama is the ONLY one with his hand over his heart?? How dare these other idiots not either salute or put their hands over their hearts when they clearly should be??? HOW DARE THEY????

Now, the TRUTH……..

The two photos above were taken at the 2009 Memorial Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery. At the bottom of this post, I have included the original video footage so you can see for yourself. The first photo was just as President Obama was being introduced and they were saluting HIM (11:31 on the video). The second photo was a few minutes later (13:28 on the video) when our President was the FIRST to put his hand to his heart after the announcement that the National Anthem would be sung. Then a split second later, everyone else followed suit.

See how the TRUTH can be twisted??

STOP THE MADNESS and stop forwarding and reposting every idiotic thing that comes into your email or social networking account. Go find the TRUTH first. Whatever that truth may be.
