HI - Nice to see you again. Have you sent any greeting cards recently?

I went to a local department store today and was in the cosmetics aisle. As I was looking for something I noticed that the “cheap” makeup was fully stocked on the shelves and the “expensive” makeup was almost gone. I asked a sales lady if they have decided to stop carrying the “expensive” makeup.

She replied “No – actually we sell just as much as we always have. We thought that we’d sell less with the bad economy but that’s not the case. We’ve got more on order.”

HHHMMM…I then decided to notice a few more things. I looked around at what people were buying. Expensive shoes, expensive clothing, and other things that really weren’t needs but wants.

My husband and I then took a drive around town. We wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast. Everywhere we went had a LINE waiting to be seated. Now, mind you, these were NOT fast food restaurants where a meal is less than $10. These were places where a meal and drink will cost you a little more than $10 per person. Not expensive by any means, but a family of 4 would be an easy $50 with meals, drinks and tip.

There were lines EVERYWHERE. We went to eight different restaurants and they all had lines and waits to be seated. We drove by two places and didn’t even attempt to go see what the lines looked like because they had people waiting OUTSIDE in the cold to get in and eat. You could see the tables filled with parties of 3, 4, 5 and even 6 people. These were families. Parent and kids.

I see people every day spending money online. Money on things they WANT. If the economy was as bad as people are claiming, there would not be this many people spending money on wants. They would be focused only on their needs.

What you focus on expands. Where is YOUR focus??

As many of you know, I’ve been speaking on teleconferences for years. I’ve also been a life coach for quite some time now. My life seems to be taking another direction. I love my life coaching and will continue to work with the clients that I currently have. New clients are also welcome. I will not, however, be promoting my life coaching as I have in the past. My main focus on that side will be Professional Speaking. I love doing the teleconferences and have had a few chances recently to do some speaking in front of groups.

I LOVE IT!!!!!

I am going to begin my speaking career talking with schools (students and staff) about the colored personality study. I know that when my children learned this skill, they looked at others completely different. They began to understand that just because someone is different from them, it just means they are a different personality and they are not a bad person. I want to educate as many people as I can about this skill.

Once I “get my feet wet”, so to speak, I will eventually do this talk at colleges. My other focus will be speaking about the Law of Attraction.

My husband is learning about the powers of manifestation. The other day he took my son to work with him. He gave Mike his gloves and was thinking “Boy I wish I had another pair of gloves”. A few minutes later a car pulled up. The gentleman in the car was looking for the owner of the building they were working on but he wasn’t around. He looked at my husband and said “Your hands look cold. Would you like a pair of gloves? I just bought a whole package of Jersey gloves.” My husband accepted the gloves, thanked the man and called me as soon as he left to tell me that “this power of manifestation thing really works”. He was so excited.

I love it when that happens.

This post is for any of my so-called team members who have accused me of “cross line recruiting” on my blog. This is MY blog. I write about what I want to write about here. If you do not like to read what I write or what is in my sidebar – PLEASE LEAVE NOW.

This is a case of a few bad apples spoiling the bunch. YOU know who you are. If you have no clue what this post is about, then it’s not directed at you. These crybabies are the reason why our industry has a bad name. These crybabies are the reason people leave our team. They are the reason why it is such a struggle for those of us who truly wish to help others.

To the crybabies I say “GET A LIFE!!!” I have done nothing but help my fellow team members. Unfortunately, because of these few “bad apples” I will no longer be able to do that. I will no longer be available to anyone who is not on my team. I have always prided myself on helping anyone who needs help. No matter where they are in our organization. I have always been there to give guidance and assistance when asked for it. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to do that. I have been accused by more than one person of cross line recruiting attempts.

I don’t owe any “rotten apples” an explanation, however, just for the record – I am not a paid member of Oprius so I do not get any monetary benefit if anyone signs up through the link on my blog. I simply put the link there because it is a program that I felt my team members could benefit from. I use a different program that many team members were introduced to, but very few could figure out how to use. Instead of recommending a program that is not friendly to someone who doesn’t know a lot about using a computer, I decided to recommend a program that is much simpler and comes with video tutorials.

The only other affiliate link is for Flowdreaming. Believe me, I will not get rich off 3% of anything on that site. I just wanted to share what I thought was a great program. And for the record – the “rotten apples” out there could REALLY use the flowdreaming information.

Now, to all of the “rotten apples” out there – GO AWAY!!! You are not welcome here. YOU are the reason this industry has a bad name. YOU are the reason that people leave our team. YOU are the reason why people do not like to reach sideline to anyone and offer assistance. YOU are the reason that I (regretfully) have decided that I will no longer reach sideline to help anyone.

My deepest sympathy to those who may be hurt by the behavior of the “rotten apples” who choose to sling accusations around instead of finding out the real story!!!
