HI - Nice to see you again. Have you sent any greeting cards recently?

custom greeting cards

I have been using Entrecard the past 3 days so I’ve had a chance to visit a lot of blogs. I glance through the post previews in the Entrecard dashboard and click on a post if I want to read it.

The whole goal of Entrecard is to get more traffic to your blog. You visit other blogs and click on their drop widget. When you “drop on them”, most will return the favor and visit your blog to “drop on you”.

When I go to another blog via a post preview I sometimes want to read more from that writer. Generally to do that you click on the header of the blog. This is what you want your visitors to do. If they come to your blog via a link to an individual post, you want them to read more.

However, if your header isn’t linked to your blog’s homepage, this is difficult. I then have to look around for a home link or go to the address bar and strip off the post name to get to the home page. Um…NO – I’ve got other blogs to visit and drop on. I’m not taking the time to hunt for your homepage.

Just make your header clickable. If you don’t know how to do that, ask someone. It’s done with an HTML anchor tag before the image source code. Very simple. If you want your visitors to be able to navigate your blog then you need to make it easy for them.

UPDATE – I’ve had many requests for the code to make your blog header clickable. Here it is:

<A HREF=”http://www.yourURLhere.com”><IMG SRC=”YourImageURLhere”></A>

The only thing you can change is what is between the quotation marks. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE or the code will not work.
